Liturgical Life Commission

Members of the Liturgical Life Commission foster a greater sense of community through the liturgical life of the parish.

Together, they:

  • Propose catechetical opportunities to enhance an understanding of the Church's sacramental life. 
  • Coordinate volunteer ministries associates with the liturgy.
  • Deepen liturgical life in the parish, including revisions or additions to scheduled liturgical events.


The purpose of the Liturgical Life Commission is to help our parish family on their path to heaven, to help them know more about their faith, and how best to serve and love GOD.


If you are interested in helping plan any of the following events, join our Commission!


Divine Mercy Sunday, St. Faustina Feast Day, St. Joseph’s Feast Day, Adoration Luncheon, Rosalia’s Pasta Dinner, etc.

Ministries:

Adoration - A form of Catholic prayer where we adore Jesus Christ’s physical presence in the Blessed Sacrament

Altar Servers -  Provide assistance to the priests during Mass

Altar Society - Assists in making the house of the Lord welcoming by cleaning the church, laundering altar linens, etc.


Children's Liturgy of the Word   - Sharing the Gospel message with young children during 9:15 and 10:45 Sunday Mass


Divine Mercy - Leading and educating people on the power of praying the The Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

Eucharistic Ministers - Assist with distributing Holy Communion at Mass

Lectors - Proclaim the Word of God during Mass

Little Church Flower Ministry - Create floral arrangements to be displayed in the Little Church, honoring the Holy Family

Little Lambs   - Sunday School for preschool children

Live Stream Operators   - Operate the equipment which live-streams daily & Sunday Mass.

Music Department - Provide liturgical music

Pilgrim Statue of Our Lady of Fatima - Increase devotion to Our Lady of Fatima and the Rosary.

PSR- Parents' Support for Religious Education of Youth

Quilting and Sewing Group - Design & make quilts, altar cloths, etc

Senior Living Ministry - Bring Communion to and converse with residents at several local senior centers.

Ushers   - Assist parishioners in finding seats, take up the collection, & bring the gifts to the altar.

Young Family Holy "Hour" - oin other young families in a short time of Adoration followed by socializing. Come one wiggly kiddo, come all!
