We are seeking leaders and assistant volunteers for both 9:15am and 10:45am Sunday Masses. You are asked to volunteer whenever your schedule allows.
You must complete "Protecting God's Children" training to participate.
What is “Children's Liturgy of the Word”?
Children ages preschool to 2nd grade (before First Communion) are invited to come together for the Children's Liturgy of the Word immediately following the priest's welcome. The children go to the sacristy in the back of the church with adult volunteers to participate in the liturgy at a child's level and they return during the offertory.
The purpose of this ministry is to share the Gospel message with young children. They will experience the reading of the Gospel on their level during Mass while their parents hear the same message reflected on an adult level. The hope is to open conversation between family members following Mass about the message received.
No prior sign-up is needed for children to participate. We hope your family will join us!
