Ascension Catholic Church and School follow the Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment Program.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis has developed a new system for safe environment compliance called Prevent and Protect STL. Everyone ministering to minors and vulnerable adults in the Archdiocese are required to register in the new system. This includes all clergy, employees and volunteers, those new to service and those who are currently in service. For those who have already attended a live Protecting God’s Children workshop, your previous training date will transfer to the new system.

In addition to attending a live Protecting God’s Children workshop, all clergy, employees and volunteers will:

  1. Register for an updated background screening

  2. View two new online training modules on abuse reporting and the Code of Ethical Conduct

  3. Agree to the updated Code of Ethical Conduct

I am a teen and would like to volunteer. What do I need to do?

If you are under 18 years old or still in high school, and wish to volunteer at Ascension Church and School, please complete the Code of Ethical Conduct for Youth form, and return it to Ginger Stamer in the parish office.

Report Information

Victims of sexual abuse, in addition to contacting civil authorities, are asked to come forward in order to receive pastoral assistance. Reports of abuse may be made to any Pastor or to:
