Attention Musicians! The Ascension Music Department is looking for parishioners high school age and up to help lead and accompany the music at Masses. We are looking for the following in cantors: someone with a heart that loves the Mass and has singing experience or has a desire to improve their singing. Intimidated by being “up in front”? That’s okay, being a cantor means you are there to lead and then step back and support the congregation. Any interest or questions please reach out to Maureen to see if you’re a good fit or just come by cantor auditions Thursday, July 20th at 7pm in the Main Church to see what it’s all about.

9:15 Choir- Open to all parishioners wanting to learn how to read music and support the congregation by singing beautiful hymns. Rehearsals are held Wednesdays 7-8pm September-May. Contact Maureen Fiudo at mfiudo@asc.church if you’re interested. 

10:45am/5:30pm Contemporary Choir- We are looking for singers and instrumentalists who enjoy contemporary church music. Contact Connor Steinhart at 314-971-8706 if you’re interested.

12:15 Choir- This choir is geared toward singers looking for a musical challenge and who enjoy more traditional hymns and chant music. Rehearsal information to come.
